Just dropped in a pair, obviously more headroom and better drive. I was looking for info on the 6J5...Hello, Thomas. <br /><br />I was looking for info on the 6J5 tube, and your site did not disappoint. My motivation is that I was reading an old book (C)1965, "Electronics Made Simple," new, revised edition, Chapter 4 "Triodes." I bought it when it was new. I was always interested in tube technology and have thought about building an amplifier for a stereo hi-fi system for records.
