Last month I showed a set of 211 drives 211 mono blocks with mercury vapour rectifiers. Here is another set of these amps but using only vacuum rectifiers in the power supplies.
Here the set is being tested in the workshop system:
At the front a newly finished single ended 10Y line stage in the lately popular gold/maroon red finish.
The amps share the same design with the previous set with only tubes on the top of the chassis. The power supply uses 4 6AU4 TV damper tubes in a full wave bridge configuration.
Here with different 6AU4 tubes which do not have getter at the top and show more of the heater glow:
