Live from Munich : High End 2019, Part 5

Hi!

At this years High End show my new DAC had it's first public appearance.

So I  would like to use this opportunity to share some more details about it. This product is a cooperation with Albert Leung of eXD Excel Digital Audio.

I am using the receiver and DAC boards of eXD and combined them with a transformer coupled tube output stage using ELROG ER801A and elaborate separate power supplies for the analog and digital sections.

Here some key features:

Ultra low jitter master clock
True asynchronous mode operation
USB Audio Class 2.0 (UAC2) compliant
PCM playback up to 786kHz
DSD playback supported
24 bit discrete R2R ladder DAC architecture
No oversampling
Support for Mac OS or Linux without special drivers, supports Audirvana Direct and Integer modes
Support for Windows XP, Vista, Win7, 8 and 10 32 and 64 bit) via drivers
S/PDIF input
Single Ended (RCA) and Balanced (XLR) outputs

Above Alberts new DAC, called the Everest ,which also debuts at this years High End.

Visit us in room F231e to listen to these DACs.

Best regards

Thomas
