The Compactron Line Preamplifier - part 2

Hi!

Assembly of the Compactron Line Preamplifier is completed.

Technical details about this preamp can be found in the last post.

The preamp is now under thorough testing before it will be shipped to its new owner.

The black front in brushed aluminum and the matte top plate are complimented with Walnut side panels.

The inside of the preamp with 2 output transformers, 2 input transformers and 4 chokes:

With side panels mounted:

Different color side panels can be chosen. Also sides in metal.

Also different color knobs.

Some more details:

The feet are stainless steel cones:

They come with matching stainless steel disks to avoid scratches in the surface below. Rubber feet are also available. The feet are easily exchangeable by the user.
