New DACs

Some recently finished Digital to Analog Converters:

Each of them follows the same 3 chassis set up with separate power supplies for digital and analog sections as the first DAC wich I introduced at the High End in May.

But each is different not only in the color scheme. The one on the left in all black uses the same single ended circuit as the first DACs but is equipped with silver output transformers. The one in the middle in light wood and graphite grey transformer covers and caps is a regular single ended unit with copper output transformers. The right one in smoked eucalyptus wood is fully differential with all silver transformers and plate chokes as used in my ultimate line preamplifier.

It is also equipped with an eXD SuperClock module.

More about the differential DAC in an upcoming post. Stay tuned!

Best regards
